Lined Note - Celebrate Release

Simon Says Stamp has a brand new release! Celebrate is available now for shopping, and has a really good mix of product! It includes lots of later spring occasions - teacher appreciation, graduation, Mother’s and Father’s Days, some good birthday products, and lots of other fun things… like tacos! Be sure to take a look.

This card features the Just a Note Notes stamp set, which is a Simon Says Stamp and CZ Design collaboration. (Those are some of my favorites!)

This Just a Note Notes stamp has some wonderful messages that are good for friends, kids, and more. Because the stamp set is all words, it immediately made me think of The Write Stuff stamp and die set. It has some great pens & pencils, and is an excellent complement to the Note messages.

Of course, I had to stamp the notebook paper style stamp in light blue ink. This was my foundation and guide for placement for the other stamps. I set it at a bit of an angle to add some interest and energy, and lined up the stamps on those lines. For the smaller message stamp, I taped off the “Just a note “ at the beginning of the message so it would tuck in around the larger Just a Note stamp.

To give the pencil some dimension, I used foam squares on the upper part (toward the eraser end) but glued the tip of the pencil directly to the card. I added a small die cut heart below the message on the card, one on the pencil, and added one on the envelope flap with the pencil I stamped there.

Thank you for visiting! I hope you get some time to create something soon.
