Bold Layers

This card features the Everything About You dies from Concord & 9th’s April release.

I wanted to do something a little different with these dies than what I’d seen shared so far, and wanted to play up the layers and dimension of the pieces. I intentionally offset the pieces of the “you” dies as I cut them, and layered them offset to create that color “shadow” for the die cut word. Those colors have a great energy together!

The stem dies I cut all from a couple of shades of blue, for a more subtle texture and pattern on the Midnight background. I really wanted the You die cuts to be the main focal point. I tucked in a stamped message (from another set of the same release) that fit perfectly between the die cuts.

Thank you for visiting! I hope you get some time to create something soon.
