Tasty Treats Packaging

This blog post is all about the Tasty Treats Bundle from Concord & 9th. (It was part of their January 2025 release.) I created some of these for Valentine’s Day, but plan to use it for much more. It can be created in any color combination or theme, and perfect for small gifts or treats anytime. (Holidays, birthday, even teacher gifts or just fun movie night treats.)

Techniques:

  • I made these for one of my daughters and her boyfriend, and shipped them away to them to enjoy at their colleges. I filled them with homemade valentine cookies (my grandma’s recipe).

  • I created each of these with them in mind, and made use of many - but not all - of the parts in the die and stamp sets. I like the mix of greetings, but large and small. There is also a great collection of tag dies in the die set, which I only used one of for these. (the orange heart with the xoxo.)

  • One was stamped with the striped background stamp, and the other I used with the dotted pattern.

  • The die set also comes with a piece to create a cute handle. In this case, I chose not to add that piece because I knew I’d be shipping these and thought they’d wrap and pack better if I left that off.

Colors:

  • cardstock: Concord & 9th Pink Lemonade, Honeysuckle, Poppy, Clementine, and Aqua Sky.

  • ink: Concord & 9th Sweet Pea, Pink Lemonade, Honeysuckle, Grapefruit, Creamsicle, and Blueberry. Versamark Embossing ink.

Thank you for visiting! I hope you get some time to create something soon.
