STAMPtember: card 2

It is a STAMPtember party! Today, the Simon Says Stamp blog is celebrating the new STAMPtember release with an inspiration-filled party.

And what’s a party without a game? Time for a scavenger hunt! Throughout the posts of all the makers (mine included), there are special promotions and deals to be found. Check out all of my photos, and then go to the Simon Says Stamp blog (see link in profile for that blog) and check out the others to see what else you can find. Have fun on the hunt, and enjoy all the inspiration along the way!

This card uses the “Trick or Treat” stamp set from the new STAMPtember release. It is actually a quick card to make, and uses a mix of fun bright colors. (If you know me, you know I love good bold color.)

I first cut my color pieces the size I wanted, and adhered them to a background panel. I stamped this Concentric Doodle background stamp on that color block panel with Versamark ink.

The four cute images are each stamped in a rich black to stand out from the bright color, with a layer of clear embossing on them to make them shine. I stamped and embossed the Happy Halloween greeting and added that, along with a few scattered stars (both stamped and sequin) as the finishing touch.

You found it!
