Wishing You Peace
This is a card I made a couple of months ago, but have’t shared yet. (I have a lot of those…)
I used a couple of cover dies for embossing instead of cutting by changing up my sandwich in my die cut machine. Both background layers are cut from the same Midnight cardstock. The back one trimmed just slightly smaller than the base of the same color. The one on top I cut with an arched shape die, and added some height to it with foam.
I cut the greenery sprigs out of 4 shades of blue, and brought in a little bit of warmth with Nectar and a gold metallic cardstock. The “peace” is cut out of two colors (white and nectar) for the word die, and Midnight for the shadow die.
I intentionally offset the white and Nectar die cut words just a bit so there’s the slightest hint of white highlight at the top of it.
The Wishing You is actually part of a stamp that I cut off so I could use it alone. (I do that sometimes so I can use parts in other ways. I can still piece it back with the other part so it doesn’t limit the ways I can use it, but it actually gives me more options.) I embossed that with white embossing powder. and attached all the pieces on the front with a mix of Gina K Connect Glue (my favorite) and some foam squares.
