Stay Cozy: Concord & 9th Guest Design

I’m sharing projects made with this brand new collection from Concord & 9th. This one has a “cozy” theme, and that’s perfect for this time of year as the temperature has started dipping colder and I’m ready to hibernate.

Today I have a card and a tag using the Stay Cozy product bundle.

Tag:

I thought the size of the shadow/outline die for this “Stay Cozy” greeting was perfect for a folded tag. That relatively straight edge across the top makes it easy. I die cut a piece of folded white cardstock for the tag, leaving the top edge beyond the cutting plate so it only cut on the other three sides.

For the background I used Dove ink through the knit pattern stencil from the bundle. It seemed a little too perfect, so I took my sand eraser and erased over the stenciling, which distressed it and gave it a little more of that fuzzy sweater look.

I cut the letters out of the other cardstock colors, and used the knit texture stamp from the Sweater Season bundle on each of the letters for some subtle texture. I did the same for the main portion of the hats (also from Sweater Season) that I used for the A and the O.

This makes a cute and easy tag, with plenty of room inside for a greeting or just a simple to and from. I now have the letters to make 3 more tags in the same color combination, and it would make cute tags in so many other colors as well!

Thanks for taking a look!
I have many more ideas for this bundle, and hope to create and share more soon. Check out Concord & 9th to see this new release - and so much more.

And don’t forget to check back here tomorrow for projects from another part of the release!

Card:

Open greeting dies like this are always fun to back with a pattern. This one is no exception, and I chose some fun happy stripes, layered behind a Mushroom card front. For the card base I used a stamp from the recent “Over the Rooftops” stamp set (September 2023 release) to stamp the snowy sky pattern along the sides for a little more detail to balance out the bold graphics. The three snowflakes on the front are layered for some additional dimensional interest.
