Four backgrounds! Card 2
I made a card earlier this month and ended up with parts for three other backgrounds in the process! This is the second of that series. It was easy to have so many ready to go, just by mixing the colors.
This card has a fun light and bright background, created with a combination of card front dies from Concord & 9th. The Modern Mosaic Card Front Die is a lot of fun to use, because it is like putting together a puzzle. (An easy one - so don’t worry if you aren’t into puzzles like I am.) You can use it with one color, or a mix like you see here. It is also great for just embossing with, and not separating the pieces. (I’ll find another card I’ve done that way and link it here soon.)
I pieced my background together on an adhesive-covered piece of thin scrap paper cut to the A2 size, and trimmed it down just a very small amount so it would have a very thin frame of the Sorbet card base I adhered it to.
This card came together very quickly. Onto the assembled background I added some parts from the really fun Cup of Kindness bundle. (Also from Concord & 9th.) I stamped one greeting onto the cup in Mushroom ink, and stamped the other on a black circle with Versamark ink and heat embossed it white.
Beyond that, it was layering die cuts and gluing it all together.
I still have enough for at least two more backgrounds! Stay tuned for those…
Thank you for visiting! I hope you get some time to create something soon.
