STAMPtember: card 4

I hope you’re enjoying the STAMPtember fun! Here’s another card for this “Trick or Treat” stamp set from the new STAMPtember release. This one is pretty straightforward with just a few ink colors, but makes a really cute card.

The first thing I did was pick two colors that blend into each other well. I used those through a stencil to create the background.

Stamping was next, using those same two colors. While I had the stamps in the MISTI I cleaned them off, and reinked with Versamark ink to add a layer of clear embossing powder to the images. That gives them a shine that is a subtle but fun contrast with the matte background.

For that greeting on the front I stamped with Versamark again, and embossed with white embossing powder. The black and white of that in the center is so crisp against the other colors on the card. Popping those cute little images up with some thin foam squares finishes it off.

This would be fun to create in so many different color combinations… give it a try!
