More Tangerine Grove
Here’s another card using the Altenew Tangerine Grove collection.
The cards I did the other day used the embossing folder and stencils. this one uses the outline stamp and the stencils, just to play with a different approach. I chose more saturated colors for this version, again, to keep it interesting. It was a pretty straightforward project, and I like how the rich, vibrant colors with the white outline play off of the textured dark gray (Concord & 9th Mushroom) background.
I did remember to document the colors I used in each stencil layer (both for my reference, and yours), and I’ve included those below in case you want to see.
Note: I did not use any brown ink for this project. I wanted a darker, richer brown than the one I have, so I used the Rainforest and Spiced Cider inks and brushes that I already had out, and added some additional color from the “dirty” brushes (with residual ink on them from the other blending), especially the Dragonfruit. I knew I’d be able to get just the brown I wanted from layering these colors, and could add layers until it was just the shade and warmth that I was looking for.
