Harlequin Hearts & Valentine Treat Wraps
Hello! This release came out just before Christmas, and if your life is at all like mine, it was a little busy. But now, I can shift focus to showing off more of the new To Love release from Simon Says Stamp. (See the whole release here.)
This post is sharing a couple of treat wraps for the winter and upcoming valentine’s season. Both are really simple to make, but make the recipient feel extra-special.
Techniques:
Adding letters in bright white provides great contrast. Layering the letters adds some nice dimensional interest. I centered them vertically within a row of hearts, and centered them around one of the vertical lines.
Tying it with red and white baker’s twine adds another detail and pattern, and ties in the red and the white.
Techniques:
I die cut the sentiment and glued it together, adding a second shadow layer to make it sturdy since I was using it as a loose tag. I found a good spot to punch a small hole in it (I used a .125” punch, which is the same as 1/8”.) and tied it on with some baker’s twine.
A few more hearts added on in the magenta and light pink colors visually connect the pieces together.
Thank you for visiting!
Stay tuned for more fun inspiration over the next few weeks.
